I began practicing yoga 14 years ago and was immediately drawn to how it made me feel physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. For the past 2 ½ years my commitment to practicing yoga has deepened, and this led me to enroll in the teacher training program here at Colts Neck Hot Yoga. Practicing yoga is incredibly important to me personally, but being able to share my knowledge with students is such a privilege, and is a truly fulfilling experience.

In addition to my passion for yoga, I am also a Feng Shui Practitioner. Having completed a two year certification program with the Feng Shui Alliance in 2005, I am currently a member of the International Feng Shui Guild. Everything in life is connected. Feng Shui is the practice of arranging your environment to enhance your life. It is all about chi flow. The objective is to attract positive energy to your space. Yoga is also about chi flow… the breath of life through your body. By drawing breath in and bringing it deep within yourself you tap into your inner power and wisdom. One of the principles of Feng Shui is that your space mirrors yourself and holds patterns of what happens in your life. Yoga is all about your inner and outer self as well. By connecting your breath you become more conscious of what is transpiring within. Both practices help me to navigate daily life with a positive, life affirming approach.
